Microwave mac and cheese.

I used to love mac and cheese. I always claimed to make the best mac and cheese.

When I worked at TAC, I would make mac and cheese and pack it in these Tupperware boxes, 6-7 of them and everyone loved it. I loved making it.

I believe the best mac and cheese is baked but honestly, I haven't made any since Bombay.

Here's a microwave easy recipe because I know you like the mouth feel of mac and cheese. (I can't believe you still remember that :D)


Ingredients

  1. ½ cup elbow macaroni(50 g)

  2. ½ cup water(120 mL)

  3. 3 tablespoons milk

  4. salt, to taste

  5. pepper, to taste

  6. ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (25 g) - In case you can't get shredded, get cubes and use those because you can break it with your hand.

  7. Fresh chives, optional


Directions

  1. Mix the macaroni, water, and salt in a microwaveable mug.

  2. Microwave for 2-3 minutes, then stir.

  3. Add the milk, cheese, salt, and pepper, then stir.

  4. Microwave for another 30 seconds, stir, and then sprinkle the chives and you're good.

  5. Enjoy!
