I saw this on Instagram a couple of weeks ago and had to try it out.

It's my 15 min dinner. To be honest, not everyone really likes it? My siblings do not and gave me a lot of crap for making it.

It's like sushi without meat? I dunno how to explain it.

I'm not 100% you'll like it? But you might? I also think this might be the easiest one from all the others.

Ingredients

  1. Silken tofu (check the packet to be 3000% sure it's silken. There's a ton of variants)

  2. 2-3 cloves garlic minced

  3. 2 tbsp soy sauce

  4. 2 tbsp black vinegar

  5. 1 tbsp sesame oil

  6. 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  7. 1 tbsp sugar or less? Depending on how sweet you want it.

  8. 1/2 tbsp chilli oil optional for spice (I'd recommend adding it)

  9. Leftover rice - you can eat it plain also. I like it with rice.

Directions

  • Drain any excess liquid that can seep out from the tofu.

  • Take a pan, add some water in it.

  • Add a dish into the plan and place your tofu on that dish.

  • Cover the pan and left the water to boil until it starts steaming

  • Leave the tofu to steam for 8-10 minutes.

  • Afterwards, carefully remove the dish from the pan.Remove excess water from the tofu.

  • Mix all the ingredients together

  • Pour it on top of your tofu

  • Eat it with rice
